Fifty-six years ago, former Supreme Court Justice Felix Angelo Bautista founded the Philippine College of Criminology or PCCr and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) granted its approval in 1954.  It is the pioneer school of criminology for scientific crime detection and police science education in the Philippines.  A Week of Fun, Remembrance and Celebration

Last February 17, 2010, the Philippine College of Criminology, Manila Law College and the PCCR High School Department simultaneously celebrated its 56th, 111th and 61st Foundation Day respectively.

THE PCCR COMMUNITY UNITED FOR THE GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT

 
Last February 18, 2010 was a grand day for the graduates of PCCR as they celebrate their 52nd Homecoming. The reunion was held at the JFAB Sports Center.  

Making the homecoming more special was the presence of the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Honorable Jose L. Atienza, the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).   
 
Pres. Gregory Alan F. Bautista, in his welcome remarks, enjoined the gathered alumni, faculty, employees and students to “honor the founders and remember those that has come before us.” Read more>>

The Beauties, Brains and Brawns of PCCr

It was an outstanding afternoon of February 19 as thirty-one beautiful and handsome candidates competed for the title of Mr. & Ms. PCCR 2010.

Hosted by English instructor and Office of the President, Research Unit Head Mr. Rob Rubina Jr., the Mr. & Ms. PCCR opened up with a spectacular opening number with the theme of nature and recycling.Read more>>
 
THE FIRST PCCR WACKY GAMES

The goal of the 2010 Personnel Wacky Games is to provide an environment for the school personnel to be active, healthy and give an outlet of fun.  This is also an opportune time to meet others and work off stress.  Held last February 20, 2010 at the JFAB Sports Center, the faculty and employees were divided into four teams: Yellow, Orange, Pink and Blue headed by Dean Ariel Manlusoc, Prof. Noel Alma Jose, Prof. Mario Villalobos and Atty. Ramil Gabao respectively.  All the teams competed in seven “wacky games.”  The overall champion at the end of the morning was none other than the BLUE TEAM!

PCCr Congratulates Criminology Board Passers Through Testimonial Dinner

The September 2009 Criminologists Board Exam Results has been released! The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 5,046 out of 14,142 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last September 2009.
