PCCR-MLC FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATIONS Print

A Week of Fun, Remembrance and Celebration

Last February 17, 2010, the Philippine College of Criminology, Manila Law College and the PCCR High School Department simultaneously celebrated its 56th, 111th and 61st Foundation Day respectively.

The celebrations kicked off with a lively Foundation Opening Day Parade participated by various departments and student organizations.  The parade was made more exciting with the presence of the Ati-Atihan and Lion and Dragon Dance to bring good luck and prosperity.  The parade started from Sales St. and passed through Avenida, Recto, Quezon Blvd., Quiapo, Gil Puyat St. before going back to PCCR for the Arrival of Honors for the President.

   



The Arrival of Honors for the President was accompanied by the PCCR ROTC with the PNP Band.

 
Immediately after, the administration officials, faculty, employees and students gathered at the JFAB Sports Center for a Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration. Coincidentally, Ash Wednesday was also being observed.



After the Mass, the President gave a rousing and inspiring Opening Remarks to usher in the Foundation Day Celebrations.  Pres. Alan challenged the PCCR community to be leaders by emphasizing and stressing the schools new core values I LEAD that stands for Integrity, Loyalty, Excellence, Accountability and Discipline.

After his speech, the PCCR community was all pumped up for the week long celebration.
