PCCr-MLC Welcomed Freshmen Students For Academic Year 2010-2011 June 15, 2010 marked the opening of classes for Academic Year 2010-2011. For PCCr-MLC freshmen, it was the beginning of a new world for them, a world vastly different from high school they were used to. It is for this very reason that the Student Affairs Office in cooperation with the Office of the Dean of the College of Criminology prepared a pre-orientation welcoming the freshmen. The two-day welcome orientation was held last June 15 & 16 at the JFAB Sports Center in two sessions – 8AM and 2PM for the morning and afternoon classes respectively. On the first day, the dynamic Head of Student Affairs Office welcomed the freshmen and introduced Dr. Ariel C. Manlusoc, Dean of the College of Criminology. Dean Manlusoc talked about academic preparedness that will guide freshmen students in making it to the top. On the second day, the various student clubs and organizations presented demonstrations to the delight of the freshmen. Among those who participated were the PCCr-MLC Chorale, the Judo Club, the Martial Arts Association, the Rotaract Club, the Deans Lister’s Society, the Combat Shooting Club and the Council of Student Leaders. Ret. Col. Gaudencio Quibuyen, the Chief of Discipline, Investigation and Security talked about avoiding fraternities and the different sanctions if the School Rules and Regulations were violated. Also present was Sports Director and PE Dept. Head Genny Faraon who talked about the different athletic Programs of the school.
