Manila, Philippines – From August 5 to 30, 2024, faculty members of PCCR’s High School and College Departments participated in an In-Service Training (INSET) to enhance their teaching strategies and professional growth for the upcoming academic year. The month-long training aimed to enhance educators’ knowledge, skills, and strategies to ensure high-quality education for students.

The Opening Ceremony on August 5 launched a series of sessions focused on key topics such as College Accreditation, High School Plans and Programs, and OBE Curriculum Implementation. Faculty members also explored modern educational tools through workshops on PCCR Learning Management System, Google Workspace, Educational Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Usage.

Innovative teaching methods were highlighted, including Flipped Classroom, Effective Assessment, and Student-Centered Learning. Research and Library Technology discussions reinforced academic excellence, while sessions on Self-Awareness, Emotional Health, Building Positive Relationships, and Financial Literacy supported faculty well-being.

The training also covered Medical and First Aid Training, Employment Policies, Gender and Development, Green Initiatives, and a Writing Workshop, fostering a well-rounded, sustainable, and inclusive learning environment. The Closing Ceremony on August 30 marked the successful completion of the program, equipping educators with essential skills for a dynamic academic year.
