Community Extension and Services

The PCCR Community Extension and Services Office (CESO) is PCCR’s socio-civic arm dedicated to transforming futures and inspiring innovation through sustainable social welfare and development programs. As an extension of the Philippine College of Criminology’s commitment to academic and community excellence, CESO serves as a platform for students, alumni, faculty, and administrators to actively engage in nation-building and social responsibility.

Roles and Responsibilities

The PCCR Community Extension and Services Office plays a vital role in bridging education with community service, ensuring that the PCCR’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). It is responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing community outreach programs that address social, economic, and environmental challenges.
  • Providing students with experiential learning opportunities that enhance their understanding of social justice, public service, and law enforcement.
  • Fostering partnerships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and private institutions to create long-term solutions for community development.
  • Organizing disaster preparedness and response initiatives, ensuring that PCCR contributes to national safety and security efforts.
  • Advocating for human rights, environmental sustainability, and public welfare, reinforcing PCCR’s role as a transformative institution in criminal justice education.

 

Scope of Initiatives

The PCCR Community Extension and Services Office’s programs span various areas of social development, including:
