Internship and Practical Training

The Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR) offers a comprehensive Internship Program for its senior-year students, designed to bridge academic learning with practical field experience. This program is a pivotal component of the criminology curriculum, providing graduating students with hands-on exposure to real-world law enforcement environments. Student interns rotate through various law enforcement agencies to gain firsthand experience, apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, and develop the skills necessary for their future careers in public safety and criminal justice.

Pre-Deployment Orientation

To ensure students are well-prepared for their internships, PCCR conducts a Pre-Deployment Orientation. This session equips students with essential information about their roles, responsibilities, and expectations during their field assignments. It also offers guidance on professional conduct and effective integration into various law enforcement agencies.

Collaborative Partnerships

PCCR maintains strong collaborations with multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Bureau of Corrections, Philippine Coast Guard, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, among others. These partnerships provide students with diverse opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings, enhancing their skills and understanding of the criminal justice system.

Comprehensive Support

Throughout the internship, students receive continuous support and mentorship from PCCR’s faculty and staff. This guidance ensures a meaningful and enriching experience, fostering professional growth and readiness for future careers in law enforcement.
